Most folks today only know Invicta (meaning “invincible” in Latin) from the modern production of inexpensive oversized wristwatches, but the Invicta firm goes as far back as 1837. The founder, Raphael Picard strove to manufacture top quality Swiss watches at affordable prices. They held forth in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland — a legendary area known throughout the industry.

Swiss watches have always been in demand and Invicta watches were one of the early brands that commanded attention... the vintage ones even more so. The name was well-known for greater than a century because of their quality and beautiful design. That is as true today as it was a hundred years ago.

Today, we are lucky to be able to offer a very nice Invicta Chronograph in a stainless steel case and a "Surfboard" Dial. This killer chrono houses a Valjoux 7733, 17 jewel movement that is one of the industry's workhorses. However, what really makes it iconic today is the "Tonneau" shaped case and the unusual dial. The stainless steel case measure 40mm in diameter (not including the crown), by 43mm lug-to-lug, by 12mm thick (including the crystal). Make sure you take a look at the zoom-in views to see how beautiful the movement is.  Our watchmakers have it winding, setting, and keeping time like the day it arrived on our shores in the 1970s.  It is a real find if you are searching for a true vintage Invicta... they are few and far between. Our one-year warranty, for parts and labor, will assure you your trust is well placed in our restoration process.
