Ulysses Nardin Day-Date Automatic
Thank heaven for "little girls"......but, thank Ulysses Nardin for this watch! Ha! This particular watch circa 1951 was made by Ulysse Nardin, a legendary Swiss company, and is one of the most interesting watches I've seen lately. Make sure you take a look at the "Zoom-In" photos to see it in all of its glory. It is a really elegant, square automatic watch (self-winding), with the date in an unusual position (at 4:30) while the day of the week is displayed in a window just above the 6 o'clock position! The case has a gold filled top with a stainless back (for longevity) measuring 28mm wide by 36mm long, from lug to lug. The movement is a 21 jewel masterpiece of engineering that our head watchmaker has perfectly restored. It is winding, setting, and keeping time just as it did when it came from Switzerland 60 some years ago. The dial has its original finish and it looks like a million dollars. The watch is triple signed and a fine example of watches coming up from South America that we rarely see here in the States. It came from a private collection and has been babied over its lifetime so that we may offer it to you for your lifetime of enjoyment. Remember all of our timepieces come with our famous one year warranty for parts and labor so that you may buy with confidence.
