Boys ....boys......there's no need to fight over it! Well, actually, maybe there is! Zodiac billed the "Sea Wolf" as the "world's finest underwater watch. They designed this watch for two distinct purposes:
1. - To satisfy the exacting requirements of the skin diver for precise timing under the most adverse operating conditions.
2. - To provide the sportsman with an all-purpose, heavy-duty watch capable of withstanding stresses far beyond that of ordinary timepieces.
They also added a movable bezel that allowed the user to instantly know the elapsed time since entering the water. Larger, luminous hands were used and large luminous markers for higher visibility. The watch was tested to a depth over 660 feet (20 atmospheres) so this was a serious watch for the person that wanted a real accurate, precision instrument.
The stainless steel case measures 34mm in diameter (not including the crown) by 42mm lug to lug. The 17 jewel movement is an automatic (self-winding) workhorse and is in excellent condition. The dial is a thing of beauty and the stainless steel band completes the total package. The watch is signed on the dial, the crown, the case, and the band so that you may buy with confidence. It might be worth fighting over after all!
