This is a 40mm long by 24mm wide Gruen Curvex for someone who does not have a large wrist, but who wants a very elegant, expertly made timepiece.� I am very partial to black dials and this one is no exception!� The gold Arabic numerals stand just proud of the dial surface and along with the gold minute track, and gold seconds bit, provide a nice contrast to the silky black background.� What floats my boat is the double-rilled case lug (take a good look in the "Zoom-In" photos).� We've never had another one exactly like it!� Gruen's quality is, of course, legendary and the 17 jewel movement is winding, running, keeping time, and performing like new, thanks to our extensive restoration process and Gruen's quality materials.� All our our timepieces are fully restored, but this one did not require any herculean efforts to make it right.� It came to us in very nice condition and was properly taken care of over its lifetime.� Made circa 1949 this one is good to go for another 61 years...easy.
